Capturing Timeless Visual Poetry: The Mindful Photography Journey of Yannis Lobaina As a photographer, I capture fleeting moments and Mother Nature's sacred geometry through my lens, transforming them into beautiful, timeless visual poetry. My work explores patterns, pareidolia (the phenomenon of seeing faces in nature), spirals, textures, and the spiritual significance of these magical encounters with the natural world. I have always been fascinated by the non-human realm. One of my pieces, "Ode to the Red Squirrel," reflects the non-human experiences of grief, joy, and hope found in nature. This encounter reminds us that we are all part of nature and deserve respect and time to heal our grief. For me, walking with my camera is a daily, conscious form of meditation. I have developed several photographic series around this theme, all centred on slowing down, observing, being patient, enjoying the present moment, and listening to Mother Nature.
